Investigation on Mechanical Strengths and Carbon Foot Print of Modified Foamed Concrete

This paper describes the work of a study carried out to investigate mechanical strengths and carbon foot print foamed concrete incorporating with local industrial wastes. Experiments were performed obtain minimum 28 days compressive strength 15 MPa modified concretes by using palm oil fuel ash (POFA) fly (FA) as partial cement replacement unprocessed rush husk (RHA) fine aggregate replacement. Carbon footprint analysis was determining CO2emission for each constituent materials in mixes. Although incorporation POFA containingRHA gained lower compared use FA, is still can be attained. In terms sustainability, 30% or FA found an encouraging reduction up about control concrete. Based on eco-strength indicator, optimum mix at 22.5% level. The eco-modified has good potential civil engineering construction environmentally friendly.
